Lilla Hygge is a stunning two-story wooden house for the Lampela family of four, where every square meter is designed to meet the family's needs. Everyday luxury is brought to life by a Drop Lähde spa on the roof terrace.
CLASSIC WOODEN HOUSE WITH SEA VIEW
The 2023 housing fair will take place in the maritime city of Loviisa. The fair area is a new seaside residential area called Kuningattarenranta, being built on the east coast of the bay of Loviisa. The area offers an opportunity for high-quality and private beach living located close to the city center.
Lilla Hygge is a stunning two-story wooden house for the Lampela family of four, where every square meter is designed to meet the family's needs.
"The decision to build the fair house was made after a bit of back and forth, as the dream of living near the sea had been on our minds for a long time. The project has gone well, even though it has been a difficult year at times, as we’ve had to control everything and follow what is happening on the plot," the Lampelas say.
"What we love most about Loviisa is definitely the atmosphere, the beautiful architecture, the cultural life and the safe, family-friendly environment."

FUNCTIONAL EVERYDAY LIFE
A lot of thought was given to functionality and the facilitation of everyday life, for example when designing the floor plan for the house. In addition, we wanted to choose highly durable materials that are suited for a family with children. Classicism is also important for the family.
The family wanted decor that was cozy and luxurious, yet relaxed. An interior design company called Koto was responsible for the interior design of Lilla Hygge.
"Lilla Hygge is the fulfillment of our dreams and we are already looking forward to moving into our new home."

JEWEL OF THE TERRACE: DROP LÄHDE
Drop Lähde outdoor spa, where clean water and atmospheric bubbles gush from the bottom of the spa to the surface just like in a spring, was selected for the Lampela family's rooftop. The family wanted to place the spa on the roof terrace for privacy. The spa is also easily accessible from the sauna facilities.
